Appointments & Scheduling

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation lasting about 60-90 minutes. Your provider will review your medical history, discuss your concerns, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 60-90 minutes. Follow-up appointments for medication management are usually 15-30 minutes, depending on your needs.
We require 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee. We understand emergencies happen—please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

You'll receive a secure video link before your appointment. Simply click the link at your scheduled time to connect with your provider. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone and a private, quiet space.
Most insurance plans cover telepsychiatry services the same as in-person visits. We'll verify your telehealth benefits when scheduling your appointment.
Yes, your provider can prescribe most medications during telehealth visits. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. Note: Some controlled substances have specific prescribing requirements.

Spravato (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray treatment for treatment-resistant depression. Yes, we are a certified Spravato treatment center. Patients receive treatment in our office under medical supervision.

New Patients
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications (including dosages), and any previous psychiatric records if available. Completing new patient forms before your visit will save time.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any remaining paperwork and allow time for check-in.
Absolutely. We welcome patients transferring from other providers. We'll request records from your previous provider (with your authorization) to ensure continuity of care.

Prescriptions & Medications
The easiest way to request refills is through our patient portal. You can also call our office during business hours. Please allow 48-72 hours for refill requests to be processed.
Yes, our providers can prescribe controlled substances when clinically appropriate. These medications require regular follow-up appointments and may have specific prescribing requirements.
Please contact our office immediately if you're at risk of running out of medication. We'll do our best to address urgent refill needs, but we encourage patients to request refills at least one week in advance.
