Urgent Care & Medical Consults

When you need answers quickly—but it’s not an emergency—our urgent care and medical consult services provide timely, professional guidance so you can make the right next step with confidence.

We offer tele-urgent care visits, medical consults, and second opinions for common non-emergent concerns—especially when you can’t get in with your primary care provider.

Urgent Care & Medical Consults

Tele-Urgent Care Visits (Virtual)
Tele-urgent care is designed for simple, non-emergent medical issues that can be safely evaluated through a virtual visit.

Common reasons patients book a tele-urgent care visit include:

New symptoms that need prompt evaluation
Minor infections or mild illness symptoms
Medication questions or general medical guidance
Help deciding what level of care you need next
If your concern appears urgent or requires hands-on evaluation, we’ll guide you on the safest next step.

Simple, Non-Emergent Medical Concerns
Our focus is on issues that are appropriate for outpatient evaluation and guidance. If you’re dealing with something that feels concerning but not clearly emergency-level, we can help you understand what may be going on and what to do next.

Examples of concerns that may be appropriate include:

Mild to moderate symptoms without red flags
Questions about symptom monitoring and home care
When to see your PCP vs urgent care vs ER
(If symptoms suggest emergency-level care, we will advise immediate in-person evaluation.)

Medical Consults & Second Opinions
Sometimes you don’t need urgent care—you need clarity.

Medical consults and second opinions are useful when:

You received a diagnosis or treatment plan and want a clearer explanation
You’re unsure whether further testing is needed
You want help weighing options and risks/benefits
You want guidance on what questions to ask your treating clinician
We focus on helping you understand your situation, your options, and what the next best step may be.

When You Can’t Get in With Your Primary Care Provider
If your PCP is booked out and you don’t want to wait weeks to evaluate symptoms, we can help assess your concern and guide you on appropriate next steps—whether that means continued monitoring, an urgent care visit, or escalation to ER-level care.

Guidance on Whether ER-Level Care Is Necessary
One of the most common reasons people schedule a tele-urgent care visit is to answer:
“Do I need to go to the ER?”

During your visit, we’ll review your symptoms and history, assess for red flags, and provide guidance on:

When it’s reasonable to monitor at home
When urgent care or same-day in-person evaluation is needed
When emergency evaluation is recommended

What to Expect
Your visit may include:

Symptom review and focused medical history
Review of current medications and allergies
Guidance on safe next steps and time-sensitive warning signs
Recommendations for follow-up with your PCP or specialist when needed

Important Note
Tele-urgent care is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you have severe symptoms (such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe weakness, fainting, stroke-like symptoms, severe bleeding, or thoughts of self-harm), call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
